The Infatuation

The Infatuation hired MDF Strategies in the infancy of its negotiations to acquire the iconic restaurant guide Zagat from Google. MDF Strategies anticipated, managed, and steered the announcement away from potential negative narratives and ensured that this key strategic acquisition was communicated and received favorably. As part of its efforts, MDF Strategies advised the company’s CEO through months of negotiations, worked with Google to positively influence timing, created materials to help introduce The Infatuation brand to various press, secured key exclusives in The New York Times and CNBC, and managed the communication strategy during the broad acquisition announcement.
